The Bears’ most impressive play came in the second quarter when rookie quarterback Caleb Williams connected with tight end Cole Kmet for a 31-yard touchdown. The Bears’ offense was able to establish a significant lead because the Jaguars’ defense found it difficult to stop them.
Elijah Hicks, a defensive back for the Chicago Bears, also made a critical play by intercepting a ball meant for wide receiver Gabe Davis of the Jacksonville Jaguars, stopping a possible touchdown drive.
If the Jaguars want to attempt a comeback in the remaining quarters, they will need to regroup and make some adjustments. The Bears’ goal in the meantime will be to keep up their momentum and win handily.
